We'll be playing outside on the patio. It's set to be a great evening, with warm weather under the stars at the foot of the Millennium Bridge (directions).

This CD offers some very different song material, with more modern Irish compositions and includes the title cut, "California Stars", lyrics written by Woodie Guthrie and music by the band Wilco, which featured Billy Bragg at the time.
The same stars travel over our world, and this CD shows the influence of American music on Irish composers and musicians, as well as a wonderful cameo appearance by Corks's own Donncha Lynch Band performing traditional Irish instrumental barn dances on fiddle, Irish accordion and spoons, and joining Brian on Christy Moore's salute to the Dingle Peninsula, "St. Brendan's Voyage".
If you missed the "Pearl of the OysterFest" contest at Jack Quinn this past Thursday night, you missed seeing a lot of talent. A young lady named Andi won the contest with her Irish stepdancing. Thursdays are always special at this terrific Irish Pub.
Look for Brian, Brendan and Greg at the Irish Snug on Saturday, October 20th joined by the Reed School of Irish Dance. This is a monthly celebration of Irish music and dance that is becoming more popular with each performance.
