Geometrics: The Shape of Things to Come

news & appearances

There's lots of news and information about upcoming performances and Festivals here. Brian will be playing at Colorado's newest Irish Pub, The Irish Snug on Saturday night at 6 pm next week, June 12th. The complete schedule is below...and congratulations to Jack Quinn's on their newest Pub by the airport in Baghdad...

last time tonight?

Brian will appear at Sheabeen Irish Pub tonight, June 5, at 8:30 pm. While I haven't appeared here often in the past few years, Tony McAleavey's Pub at Iliff and Chambers in Aurora was one of my first venues. Future Saturday nights will be different (see below) and it's rumored that Tony is retiring as a publican. Join me tonight at a good friend of Irish Music's pub!

colorado irish festival

Brian is the President of the Colorado United Irish Societies, Inc. (CUIS), that organizes the annual Colorado Irish Festival. It's a labor of love--and so much work that Brian's missed sending out some Irish Row updates to you over the past months. He's calling for any and all to go online and volunteer for this year's Festival, July 10-11, at Clement Park in Littleton.

We need lots of help in the Music area, you can chauffeur bands and artists, emcee, be a sound or stage manager or dozens of other functions. We need you! Don't forget to list any special jobs you'd like to perform in the comment area. Volunteers get free admittance, a great t-shirt, food and drink, and a party after the Festival! There's a variety of jobs and we really appreciate your help...

It's cool in the mountains, admission is free and there are a number of area bands performing, as well as stepdance companies. You can also enjoy the hospitality of the Cala Inn, just down the road from the resort.

conor o'neill's in ft. collins

Brian recently played at Conor O'Neill's newest Irish Pub in Fort Collins. Look for Brian to appear there starting in August at least one Tuesday each month. They have a great stage! The building looks like an Irish pub now!

the irish snug on capitol hill

Visit the Irish Snug web site Brian will appear at the Irish Snug, 1201 East Colfax in Capitol Hill on Saturday, June 12 at 6 pm. Look for Brian to appear there regularly at that time on Saturday nights. The Irish Snug has a great menu and relaxing atmosphere. More pictures at left.
Brian's really happy to be working with the Irish Snug to provide great pub music earlier on a Saturday night. This is a great chance to see a new Irish pub, owned by the McLoughlin brothers, Frank and Jim, and enjoy Irish music earlier. Brian will play until 9:30 or so, unless something happens (a few weeks ago it turned into a party until 1 am).

Fado Irish Pub

Join Brian every Wednesday night at Colorado's premier Irish Pub in LODO Denver. Cold pints, the largest patio in the area, and a raucous crew of regulars make for a fun evening every time. Every Wednesday Night, 7:30 pm

Jack Quinn Irish Alehouse and Pub

If it's Thursday, this must be Colorado Springs. Great food at reasonable prices and one of the best bar staffs in Colorado make for a remarkable evening as Brian appears at one of his very favorite Pubs. We've had great audiences, congratulations to the recent grads, and my apologies to the poor girl right off the plane from Germany that I kept telling to "spit out the gum and sing!" Every Thursday Night, 7:30 pm
